I liked the way Angelico went to all that work in live for his person Cindy and also bought his fellow cat a new striped mouse with a string for a tail, etc.. There was not anything I disliked. I would definitely recommend this if I could for little and big cat lover fans though. The age level that was suggested for kids ages 3-5 & or in grades P-K.For those items I wrote about in the above paragraph are my reasons to want to rate this as a five star book. Cats really do like things to go their way in a household, and Angelico goes to great lengths to get things back to normal. Cute pictures.
Delightfully, playful book, where cats talk and take care of their people. Illustrations are fun and depict the story quite well.
Beautiful, fun story that would be great to enjoy with your little ones. This is the kind of story that they'll know by heart and "read" to you.
My seven year old granddaughter read this to my 4 1/2 year old grandson. They both liked it and laughed a lot. But she thought the cat should have been able to drive the car more easily ;-). He really liked the part with the tea and honey. -) And they both thought the cat sitting her head, and the cat holding down the sunshine was hilarious.
Lovely story where Angelico does next to impossible things to love and care for his person. Great illustrations with a creative storyline. So much fun.
The first night we read this at bed time, my 4-year-old daughter insisted on reading it twice, back to back. Last night, she did stories with her mother, and roped her into reading it to her twice as well. Definitely a new favorite in our house.
Really liked this book. What a funny cat! I loved the artwork. Wish I had something like this for one of my books. Just supper cute. I am going to read this book for my students this Friday. They are writing a book about stray cats in Chicago and they are trying to illustrate it themself. (They are 8 - 12 years old. So Im sure they will get inspiration from this book. Well done!
