Great book for balloonists
It is the correct book but there are 2 problems
1. I couldn't tell it wasn't in color. Their sample shows written pages, not the colored illustrations.
2. It says it is copyrighted. It is not. Anyone can print this book off the FAA website.
This is a must read for potential aeronauts and balloon crew members. Well organized and filled with details. Some art work (knots, tethers, etc.) to go along with instruction would have made this a perfect handbook.
This is a piss poor black and white photocopy of a book, not a real book; very disappouinted
This book gives everything a new pilot and an existing pilot needs to update their knowledge. Very informative and good information.
Very detailed & more difficult than I expected, but just what I needed.
Incredibly valuable resource for balloon pilots of all skill levels; an absolutely must-have for the balloon pilot's library. Simple, easy to read explanations, coupled with a plethora of illustrations, examine every aspect of the requirements for balloons flight, as well as pilot certification. The smaller size on this particular printing make it easy to slip into a pilot or kit bag. This is a TRUE reprint of the FAA's current handbook, not the previous edition, which some republishers are selling here.
